Second all-inclusive consultative conference on the process of the formation of
Transitional Government in Ethiopia
The Ethiopian National Transitional Council (ENTC) is working towards a second round consultative conference on the removal of the TPLF-EPRDF regime and the formation of an all inclusive transitional government. In its first consultative conference in July 2013, representatives from various sectors of the Ethiopian community, including political and civic leaders, scholars and members of the media have participated and a committee to strengthen the transition process has been formed.
Absence of post TPLF-EPRDF planning and discussion, we do not want to see our country to spiral into chaos as being witnessed in Egypt and other countries that are undergoing change. Beginning the process of transition is our main focus and mission.
Current Ethiopian situation clearly demonstrate that we are in the final chapters of the demise of the regime which calls for this agenda to be on the fore-front more than ever. As such, we are working hard to organize a second consultative conference that will include more participants than the earlier conference. We will announce the date and other details of this conference in the near future.
